Above: Promotional Poster for the Film.
I have found a film copy now and should be able to view it in the next few weeks – and also hopefully produce DVDs from the actual movie film. Quite an exciting find – This is a film that many people have looked for over many years including myself of course. Film is in Black and White and has a running time of only 68 minutes so would be a second feature / B film as we would say – and one that has not been deemed worth releasing in any format.

Does this film have a cliff formation that looks like a skull? When the sun shines through the skull the ray points to the treasure?? Searching for a movie I saw as a kid in 1956. Not Lust for Gold. Thanks!
Yes. It does have a cliff formation and when the second last of the Braganza Crosses is found, the lead character rests with his arms outstretched against a structure at the top of one mountain – and this casts a cross-like shadow across the valley to the other mountainside. It then dawns on them that this is the final Braganza Cross and the hidden treasure is there. You mention the earlier film Lust for Gold – and much of the final action scene is footage from that which had a higher production value – and is very impressive giving this film an exciting finish. Thanks for you comment.
